My Teacher Emergency Kit

So, today my friend Sara Lopez dropped by and surprised me with an Emergency Kit for teachers! I love this idea! The best part is that it has ibuprofen! Every teacher has those difficult days in which either chocolate or ibuprofen is badly needed.

Phase 1 of Classroom Library: Operation Color

I finally decided to go get the books from storage and start labeling them based on Genre. I ran out of cute color tape so I finally went to the trouble of printing out some labels and taping them to the spine of the book. This is what the end results look like. It was hard work but I think it will be worth it!

Organizing my Classroom Library

I have decided to organize my classroom library based on level of reading difficulty. However, I realized that it takes a really long time to do this!
First, I have to go to this website: http://www.arbookfind.com/default.aspx
Then, I actually have to type in the book and write the book level on the inside flap. Instead of doing all this work, I think I'm going to research if doing this is actually worth it!
